As a prospective first-time homeowner looking to finally own his own place, unluckily, the world had gone a little crazy. Luckily, I had Meredith Adhate to guide me through these turbulent times. Meredith was amazing, carefully answering every question I had with either detailed responses, or a referral to someone better equipped to answer the question, ex. realty related vs legal related. As a first-time buyer I did not have the contacts built out for the necessities, ex. Inspections, attorney, etc. Everyone she referred me to was just as helpful and friendly as Meredith is. I can not stress enough how much of a joy it was working with Meredith, her patience, dedication, and knowledge lead me through the initial search, bid, and closing of my first home, and I could not be happier with the experience! If you are looking for a home in New Haven County, Meredith Adhate is your best bet!

My boyfriend and I found a house we loved in CT and Meredith was quick to look into the property and let us know all the info. I should mention we live in California. This is our first time shopping for a home and Meredith never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or silly questions.And while we are not going to end up in CT, I would highly recommend Meredith to anyone house hunting in CT. Meredith was an absolutely brilliant realtor. My husband and I were buying our first property together and we are not from the US so we weren't familiar with the system here. Meredith explained everything really clearly and was with us every step of the way. She was incredibly responsive and often text us to check-in and make sure everything was going smoothly. She was a brilliant advocate for us with the seller's agents and kept in close contact with all parties (us, the lawyer, the seller's agent) to make sure the closing happened on schedule. Thanks to her diligence we were even able to close a little early. She also gave us loads of good recommendations e.g. for mortgage lenders, lawyers, electricians and more; and went above and beyond in getting us a quotes for work we might need to get done. I can't recommend Meredith enough, she really knows what she's doing and goes the extra mile for her clients.
